“Le Fotografie” is Italian for “The Photographs.” Le Fotografie is a web site that was started with a very specific objective. Photography is the world’s most “democratic” art form. Why? Because it’s the only art form in which an artist/photographer can make as many “originals” from a given image as he or she wants. Yet, fine art photography is often sold as limited editions specifically to increase prices for galleries. At Le Fotografie we want to make fine art photographs affordable to as many people as possible. To that end we are making a curated collection of fine art photographs, by a hand-picked group of photographers, available at extremely affordable prices via direct sale over the internet. Edward Riddell has been a photographer for nearly 40 years. His work has been widely published and he sells fine art color and B&W prints. He is also the curator of Le Fotografie, a new e-commerce, photography store, which offers a curated collection of fine art photographs at affordable prices. This site showcases the work of some of the wonderful photographers Edward has met and known.
